2027 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training!
a journey of growth and connection
EARLY REGISTRATION: THE FIRST 10 TRAINEES SAVE $200!
Join us for a 200-hour yoga teacher training that goes far beyond learning how to lead a class.
Through movement, practice teaching, workshops, and self-reflection, you’ll build the skills and confidence to teach yoga while deepening your connection to yourself, your practice, and the people around you.
Over the course of the program, you will:
LEARN TO LEAD WITH CONFIDENCE
Through guidance, practice, and feedback, you’ll learn a foundational yoga sequence that blends movement, breath, and mindfulness. Along the way, you’ll develop the skills and confidence to lead others through a meaningful experience.
CONNECT MORE DEEPLY WITH YOURSELF AND YOUR PRACTICE
Grounded in Patanjali’s eight limbs of yoga, our training invites you to look inward, explore what matters most, and bring the practice of yoga beyond your mat and into your everyday life.
BUILD MEANINGFUL CONNECTIONS
There’s something powerful about going through this experience together. You’ll practice, learn, sweat, laugh, and grow alongside a group of people who quickly become an important part of your journey. The connections formed during teacher training often extend far beyond the program itself.
“If I could use one word to describe the way this program made me feel, I would say: Connected.”
— Natalie, 2023
OUR NINTH TRAINING. REFINED YEAR AFTER YEAR.
2027 marks our ninth 200-hour teacher training at Yoga Habit. Each year, we take what we’ve learned - from our trainers, our trainees, and the experience itself - and make the program even stronger.
“Yoga Habit has dedicated teachers who have spent years refining the materials and structure of this training, building upon their own knowledge and fostering a community of life-long learners as a result.”
— Cameryn, 2025
“Every aspect of the program felt intentional, comprehensive, and well-developed. I cannot imagine having completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training anywhere else.”
— Chloe, 2026
Meet your lead trainers!
-
Caitlyn has been teaching yoga for 15 years and holds both E-RYT 200 and RYT 500 certifications. She has completed additional trainings in anatomy and pranayama and is currently completing a second 500-hour training with Yoga Medicine, specializing as a Yoga Therapeutic Specialist. She has taught in a wide variety of studios and settings and has helped lead Teacher Training at Yoga Habit since 2020.
Caitlyn’s teaching centers around breath, balance, and a therapeutic approach to movement. She is passionate about helping students deepen the connection between mind and body and develop a practice that supports them both on and off the mat.
Outside the studio, Caitlyn stays busy with her husband and their three kids. They live in Havertown with their pup, Cosmo.
-
Stephanie has been teaching yoga for more than six years and holds both 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teacher training certifications, along with an additional 50-hour training in anatomy. She is also a certified barre instructor with more than 200 hours of training.
Her teaching blends her knowledge of anatomy with a love of movement, helping students build body awareness, move with intention, and discover what their bodies are capable of. She believes yoga is a powerful complement to other forms of movement and fitness, creating space for both strength and mindfulness.
Outside the studio, Steph is a new mom and loves spending time with her husband, little one, and dog - and traveling whenever they get the chance (often to Greece!).
-
Britt completed her 200-hour teacher training at Yoga Habit in 2019 and has continued to deepen her teaching and practice ever since. She is an E-RYT 200, Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), certified Yoga Sculpt instructor, and Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT 85).
As both a teacher and longtime member of the Yoga Habit community, Britt brings experience, warmth, and a down-to-earth approach to her classes. She encourages students to trust themselves, stay curious, and step outside their comfort zones.
Outside the studio, Britt is a mom, wife, and dog mom who knows firsthand what it means to balance a yoga practice with a full life.
-
Jung found yoga through her local gym in 2012, and it was love at first sight. She completed her 200-hour teacher training through Grace & Glory Yoga in 2015, followed by a 100-hour Advanced Training with Philly teachers Daniel Cordua and Alex Holmes. In 2017, she completed her 500-hour teacher training in Koh Samui, Thailand, with Briohny and Dice of Bryce Yoga and Claudine and Honza Lafond of YogaBeyond.
Always a student first, Jung continues to deepen her practice through workshops, curiosity, and a love of movement. Her teaching emphasizes breath, alignment, flow, and focus, and she has a passion for everything from inversions (upside down time!) to savasana.
Jung credits her teachers as a continued source of inspiration and encourages her students to stay curious, explore their practice, and have some fun along the way.
Outside the studio, Jung balances yoga with a full-time career in venture capital. She loves traveling and exploring new places, and when she’s home, you can usually find her spending time with her husband and their pup, Kani.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
-
Our first weekend together we study the history of pre and post modern yoga so you have an understanding of the lineage of yoga and where our power yoga practice comes from.
-
Each weekend together, we’ll study a different limb from Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga and a different Yama or Niyama which will help us understand that yoga is much more than just asana. This is where you will reflect on your own life and values to get closer to what truly matters to you.
-
We’ll explore each posture in our yoga sequence in detail. You’ll watch videos to help understand general alignment for all bodies, common misalignments and ways to modify. You’ll then understand how to cue effectively to create better alignment, strength and ease in each person’s body.
-
Each weekend, we explore a different area of the body—from the spine, shoulders, and hips to the nervous, fascial, and respiratory systems. Our anatomy workshops are designed to give you practical, relevant knowledge that helps you teach with greater understanding and confidence—without overwhelming you with information.
-
We’ll explore the power of the breath and how it can impact the nervous system, energy, and overall well-being. You’ll practice a variety of pranayama techniques and learn how to incorporate breathwork into your practice and teaching.
-
We’ll explore what mindfulness is and how to bring it into everyday life, both on and off the yoga mat. You’ll learn simple, practical techniques to build greater awareness and presence.
-
We learn about trauma and how each person who comes to our yoga class will experience our words and touch in different ways. We learn how to tailor our power yoga classes to be trauma aware so that everyone has a sense of safety in our classes.
-
We’ll spend a whole weekend learning the art of hands-on assists within the different categories of asanas. We’ll discuss consent and our system that we use at Yoga Habit to receive permission from students.
-
Our yoga sequence is an all levels sequence, however, learning how to modify many of the poses and the flow to meet beginners where they are is important. You’ll create a modified sequence just for beginners to put into action right out of training.
-
Each of our yoga classes ends with a restorative sequence so you’ll learn what restorative and yin yoga are, the differences between the two and how this part of class and our Slow Flow + Restore classes are so helpful for our nervous system.
-
We’ll explore the many ways you can use your yoga certification and what it’s really like to work as a yoga teacher. A panel of our experienced instructors will share their different perspectives and answer your questions about everything from finding teaching opportunities and getting paid to taxes, insurance, marketing, and more. This fun, open conversation is your chance to ask the questions you’re curious about and learn from teachers with a range of real-world experience.
