Join lead trainers Caitlyn Williams and Jung Kim for a 200-hour yoga teacher training that goes far beyond learning how to lead a class.

This experience is a deep dive into both the art of teaching and the practice of self-growth—an opportunity to connect more fully with yourself and your values.

Through dynamic workshops, posture clinics, practice teaching, and guided self-inquiry, you’ll not only build the skills to teach with confidence but also uncover new perspectives about who you are and what matters most.

This training is an invitation to step into your most authentic self—living your yoga on and off the mat.

Over the course of this program, you will:

LEARN TO TEACH A POWERFUL YOGA CLASS

Through guidance and practice, you will learn a set yoga sequence that blends movement, breath and mindfulness to help your students create space for transformation.

CONNECT MORE DEEPLY WITH YOURSELF

Grounded in Patanjali’s eight limbs of yoga, this training invites you to look within and uncover what matters most. Through self-reflection, you’ll uncover clarity and direction, moving closer to the life that feels authentic and aligned.

CREATE A NEW COMMUNITY WITH LASTING FRIENDSHIPS

Embarking on our yoga teacher training journey is not just about honing your teaching skills, but also about forging a community of new friends. Together, you'll sweat, learn, and grow, supporting one another through challenges and triumphs. This community becomes a pillar of support to inspire and empower one another on this beautiful journey of self-discovery.

  • “Yoga Habit’s yoga teacher training was a transformative experience for me. I was able to connect with kind and dedicated teachers and fellow trainees, and we supported each other so genuinely each and every weekend we spent together. I came in thinking I’d never be able to really teach yoga, and came out with a very different way of seeing myself and what I was capable of, something I’ll carry that with me into all the other parts of my life. I’m grateful I’ll be able to grow these relationships and stay connected to this wonderful community by continuing to practice at the studio.”

    —Wes

  • “This is honestly probably the best thing I’ve ever done JUST for me. I think this was the first time I TRULY got to know myself on a deeper level and I really feel like I grew. I absolutely recommend this to anyone who is able to take this training. I really think it changes lives! I’m so happy I did it.”

    —Val

I learned lessons about myself, the world, and the practice of yoga that have cast a new light on the way I think about things. Also, the community space cultivated through the training is unmatched. I am so grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to continue to see what these newly planted ideas, skills, and connections bloom into.“

    —Jacquie

The leaders are thoughtful, incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and they push you to be the best version of yourself. They foster a safe space where you can learn about yourself and grow. I am in awe of the support and community that was built. I have made friends and connections that will last a lifetime. Yoga Habit, the people, the leaders and this training have been such a gift to my life. If you are even slightly considering this program, I cannot recommend it enough.”

I feel Connected to an amazing yoga community; Connected to my breath; Connected to my body; Connected to my mind; Connected to a deeper sense of Self; and Connected to the lineage of Yoga. Jen and Caitlyn created a program that not only left me feeling prepared to lead a yoga class but also to lead myself through the teachings and practice of yoga in my everyday life.”

Jen and Caitlyn are true leaders who have encouraged us to grow our practice, teach from our hearts and lean into our own vulnerabilities. Yoga Habit’s community is contagious in the best way — it’s an extremely supportive, inspirational and kindhearted community full of people from all walks of life which made spending 200 hours at the yoga studio extra special and I couldn’t be more grateful. This entire training experience has been full of personal growth and incredible memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you, Yoga Habit.”

Meet your lead trainers!

  • Caitlyn has been teaching yoga classes for 12 years, holding a E-RYT 200 and RYT 500. In addition, she has completed trainings in Anatomy, Pranayama, and is completing her second 500 hour with Yoga Medicine to specialize as a Yoga Therapeutic Specialist. She has experience teaching in a wide variety of studios and settings, and has helped lead Teacher Training at Yoga Habit since 2020. In her teaching, Caitlyn focuses on breath and balance, with a therapeutic emphasis. Caitlyn is dedicated to helping students connect their mind, body, and spirit, bringing a holistic understanding to their practice and their life.

When not teaching yoga, Caitlyn is running around after 3 young kids with her husband. They live in Havertown and have a pup named Cosmo.

  • Jung found yoga through her local gym in 2012. It was love at first sight, and she progressed to complete her 200 hour teacher training through Grace & Glory Yoga in 2015. Upon completion, she then proceeded to complete a 100-hour Advanced Training with Philly teachers, Daniel Cordua and Alex Holmes.

In 2017, she completed her 500 hour teacher training with Briohny and Dice of Bryce Yoga as well as Claudine and Honza Lafond of YogaBeyond in Koh Samui, Thailand.

Through various workshops and a curious nature, she has embraced her passion for all poses, from inversions (upside down time!) to savasana. Believing that breath, alignment, flow, and focus are some of the most transformational aspects, Jung considers herself a student first, and credits her teachers as inspiration.

PROMISED OUTCOMES of training:

  • Our first weekend together we study the history of pre and post modern yoga so you have an understanding of the lineage of yoga and where our power yoga practice comes from.

  • Each weekend together, we’ll study a different limb from Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga and a different Yama or Niyama which will help us understand that yoga is much more than just asana. This is where you will reflect on your own life and values to get closer to what truly matters to you.

  • We’ll explore each posture in our yoga sequence in detail. You’ll watch videos to help understand general alignment for all bodies, common misalignments and ways to modify. You’ll then understand how to cue effectively to create better alignment, strength and ease in each person’s body.

  • Each weekend we explore different parts of the body such as the spine, shoulders, hips, muscles, nervous system, fascia and respiratory system.

  • We’ll dive into the power of our breath and it’s capacity to change our nervous system. We will practice different pranayama techniques.

  • We will learn about what mindfulness is and the various ways to practice it on and off our yoga mats.

  • We learn about trauma and how each person who comes to our yoga class will experience our words and touch in different ways. We learn how to tailor our power yoga classes to be trauma aware so that everyone has a sense of safety in our classes.

  • We’ll spend a whole weekend learning the art of hands-on assists within the different categories of asanas in our sequence. We’ll discuss consent and our system that we use at Yoga Habit to receive permission from students.

  • Our yoga sequence is an all levels sequence, however, learning how to modify many of the poses and the flow to meet beginners where they are is important. You’ll create a modified sequence just for beginners to put into action right out of training.

  • Each of our yoga classes ends with a restorative sequence so you’ll learn what restorative and yin yoga are, the differences between the two and how this part of class and the Slow Flow + Restore classes are so helpful for our nervous system.

  • We’ll explore all the different ways to use your yoga certification going forward and also touch on aspects of being a yoga instructor such as payment, taxes, insurance and marketing.

  • You’ll learn about your voice and how to fully express with both projection and inflection. You’ll learn how to communicate clearly using simple and concise wording. Most importantly, you’ll learn how to share powerfully in class to create connection with your students.
