Designed for yoga teachers looking to build beyond the introductory foundations of hands-on assisting, this interactive workshop led by Jung Kim (500 RYT, YACEP) will help you expand your assisting toolkit, refine your technique, and gain confidence through practice.
Together, we'll explore assists for a variety of postures while discussing the intention behind each approach and how to adapt assists for different bodies and classroom settings.
Through guided partner and demo work, you'll have ample opportunity to give and receive assists, experiment with new techniques, exchange feedback with fellow teachers, and deepen your understanding through hands-on application.
What you'll explore:
Expand your library of assists across a variety of postures
Explore multiple approaches to supporting the same pose
Refine touch, communication, timing, and teacher presence
Adapt assists for different bodies and student needs
Practice extensively with fellow yoga teachers in a collaborative learning environment
Leave with fresh ideas, greater confidence, and practical techniques you can immediately integrate into your teaching!
