Intro to Assisting Practice

  • Yoga Habit 1640 Fairmount Avenue Philadelphia, PA, 19130 United States (map)

This workshop is an Assisting Practical, where Jung Kim (E-RYT 500, YACEP) will lead you in the practical, hands-on application of assisting in a yoga class. We’ll spend the beginning of the workshop reviewing the approach to safe assisting, then spend the rest of the time learning and applying foundational and new assists.

In this workshop, we will:

  • Review foundational assisting ground rules

  • Run through varying assists as a group and switch partners to maximize exposure to diverse shapes, bodies, energies, and needs

You’ll leave with:

  • A practical workshop that allows you to improve in real time

  • Learn or revisit assists to gain comfort in assisting and refinding this teacher skillset

This workshop will offer 3 CEUs. This workshop is part of our 200-Hour Teacher Training and is designed for yoga teachers or anyone who is interested in expanding their yoga knowledge and skillset.

Price: $65, or $100 for both assisting workshops

48 Hour Cancellation Policy: Please cancel 48 hours ahead of the scheduled workshop time so that someone else can take your spot. Credit for the value of the workshop will be issued back to your account. If you cancel within the 48 hour window, a refund will not be issued.
