Intro to Anatomy: The Spine - Flexion and Extension

Expect a practical, movement-focused workshop that deepens your understanding of spinal stability, load management, and the muscular actions that power flexion, extension, and lateral movement. Building on foundational anatomy from previous workshops, you'll explore hinges of the spine and the key muscles behind spinal movement. Throughout the session, you'll develop the skills to assess students spinal movements with precision, and guide students toward greater stability, integrity, and ease in their practice.

This workshop is part of our 200-Hour Teacher Training and is designed for yoga teachers or anyone who is interested in expanding their yoga knowledge and skillset.

Price: $60, or $350 for all 7 sessions

Sunday, February 1st, 10 am - 12 pm: The Spine – Axial and Rotational Movement
Sunday, February 22nd, 10 am - 12 pm: The Respiratory System
Sunday, March 15th, 10 am - 12 pm: The Nervous System and Fascia
Sunday, March 29th, 10 am - 12 pm: The Spine – Flexion and Extension
Sunday, April 19th, 10 am - 12 pm: The Shoulder
Sunday, May 17th, 10 am - 12 pm: The Hip

48 Hour Cancellation Policy: Please cancel 48 hours ahead of the scheduled workshop time so that someone else can take your spot. Credit for the value of the workshop will be issued back to your account. If you cancel within the 48 hour window, a refund will not be issued.
